Burjo "Cheap Restaurant" ala Yogyakarta - What is Burjo?  Burjo is fast stall food 24 hours with egg rice as favorite menu in Yogyakarta. Not only egg rice menu but also varied menu of tasty and lots of choice . Burjo is an acronym of green bean porridge.  Burjo has a lot of culinary enthusiasts, especially college students who live in Yogyakarta that is famous for all its limitations. Burjo became rivals Angkringan in Yogyakarta.

You can find Burjo in all regions of Yogyakarta. Burjo spread like mushrooms in the dry season. Burjo in 2014 is different from 2009 when first time  I came in Jogja.Burjo has culinary business competition that is very tight. To attract the visitors, Burjo offered unique and different  concepts than the other . For example, Burjo provides Wifi, Cable TV channels that would normally be used to watch together (NOBAR) and it also offers a cafe concept. Do not worry about the price because it is cheap. 

How much the price for Eating in burjo? With a low price ranging from IDR 4500, Burjo can shoot targets that is college students. Burjo open 24 hours and ensure the college student’s stomach is full. All college student know it.  What can you buy in Burjo? You can buy variety menu like Egg rice, chicken , bandeng fish, tongkol fish, catfish, nila fish, ati ampela, soda happy, instant noodles and many more.

Writing this article make me laughing because so many memories about burjo during my life in Yogyakarta.
