List of Destinations Provinces in Indonesia - Indonesia as a maritime country consisting of many islands. It makes Indonesia become the largest archipelago in the world. Indonesia is divided into many provinces where each province is divided into several districts in each island that are recognized by the unitary state of Indonesia. Nowdays  Indonesia has 34 provinces and 5 of them are the province with special status. Therefore, each province also has customs, local language and different cultures and become the attraction of tourists  visiting  the area in each province. From the 34 provinces, 10 of them located on theSumatera island , 6 on the Java island , 5 on the Borneo island,  6 on the Sulawesi  island, 3 on the Nusa Tenggara island , 2 on  the Maluku islands  and 2 located on Papua island.
